The Olive Tree Cattery Limited Terms and Conditions

The Olive Tree Cattery is by appointment only. Our hours of opening are:
Monday – Friday: 9.30am – 11.30am & 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9.30am – 11.30am

A £20.00 non refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from your invoice when you collect your cat after their stay with us.

The Olive Tree Cattery Ltd will take every care and precaution whilst looking after your cat however, we cannot be held responsible for any illness, disease, death or loss whilst they are in our care or during transport to or from the cattery chalet. Cats are left in our car at the risk of the owner.

The Olive Tree Cattery Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage/loss of property whilst on the premises. Any items left whilst your cat is staying with us are left at the risk of the owner. 

Sharing of accommodation is only permitted for cats from the same household. The owner consents to cats being separated if required for any reason.

If your cat becomes unwell during their stay, you give permission for medication/parasite treatment/procedures to be given to your cat as advised by a vet. This treatment will be charged to the owner. We will always try to use your own assigned vet if treatment is needed but we may have to use our own if necessary. 

If your cat is on regular medication, please discuss with us at the time of booking. We can normally administer medication. Please note, we do not administer injections such as insulin for diabetic cats.

If your cat is on a prescribed diet then the owner must provide the food with feeding instructions.

All male cats over the age of 6 months must be neutered before being boarded.

All cats to be fully vaccinated against feline influenza & feline enteritis before boarding. Vaccinations must have been completed in the past 12 months and not less than 7 days. Proof of vaccination is mandatory and MUST be provided to The Olive Tree Cattery Ltd before boarding or at the time of drop off. The Olive Tree Cattery will keep the vaccination records during the cat’s stay.

We require cats to be treated regularly against fleas and worms. If during the cat’s stay this becomes a problem we will contact your vet to arrange appropriate treatment at cost to the owner.

If no contact is had with the owner/emergency contact after 14 days of the collection date, then The Olive Tree Cattery will re-home your cat(s) after all efforts have been made to make contact.

If you return home earlier than intended, we normally only charge you for the days your cat has stayed with us.

Permission to share photos of your cat on our website.

For existing customers, payment is due on collection of your cat(s) by cash or BACS (bank transfer). Cat(s) cannot be collected until payment is made in full.

All part days will be charged as full days including arrival/departure days.

All prices include food, heating, treats, bedding, litter, toys, daily grooming and play time if your cat wishes. 

Any current health problems must be notified to us at drop off. The Olive Tree Cattery reserves the right to refuse a cat that shows signs of ill health at the time of admission. 

A fee of £15 (each way) will be added for Delivery and Collection to Westbury, Trowbridge and Warminster areas. 

Public bank holidays incur an additional 50% charge.

Christmas, boxing day and New Years Day incur an additional 100% charge.
